Zadok

Zimbabwe - Age 5
March 24, 2023

We caught up with a very jovial Zadok in the ward. As we played with him while he was drawing, Zadok burst into laughter. Please send him positive well-wishes that will make him smile. Zadok will soon be released from the ward. Please keep praying for his complete recovery. Thank you!

Zadok

Zimbabwe - Age 5
March 23, 2023

Zadok went to the OR first thing in the morning. The anesthesia team put him to sleep, and before the surgeons started surgery, they prayed. The OR team performed a procedure called Achilles tendon lengthening (ATL) on both feet. This aims to stretch the Achilles tendon, allowing Zadok to walk easily. After the surgery, Zadok was monitored by the PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), as can be seen in the picture. When he wakes up, he will be a step closer to his dream of being a soccer player! Please pray for him as he is now back in the ward recovering. Thank you for your continued generosity that has made his surgery possible.
