Alexander
Philippines - Age 17
Last week, we had the pleasure of seeing Alexander at the outpatient clinic when he came for his follow-up appointment. He has been referred to physical therapy for leg strengthening and gait training as part of his ongoing care. These therapeutic techniques are commonly used in physical therapy to enhance muscle strength, coordination, and walking ability. The main goal is to improve overall functional independence and enhance the quality of life for Alexander. Alexander has been making remarkable progress during his physical therapy sessions, and we are truly impressed by his transformation. God has been working wonders in Alexander's life, and we are grateful to be part of it! We look forward to seeing him again for his routine check-up in three months.

Ann Marielle
Philippines - Age 14
Today, we witnessed the remarkable bravery and courage displayed by Ann Marielle as she progressed on her healing journey! This young girl’s long leg cast has been removed, and she has transitioned to wearing a knee hinge brace to support her treated leg. The medical team was pleasantly surprised by Ann Marielle's incredible transformation. Afterward, she was referred to the physical therapist for further assistance and to practice walking on the parallel bar. Ann Marielle took the initiative to start walking on her own even before the physical therapist told her, leaving everyone amazed by her determination. Thank you so much for your prayers for Ann Marielle. All things are indeed possible with God!

Kenz
Philippines - Age 5
Last week, we enjoyed seeing Kenz and his father at the clinic. We were delighted to witness a significant milestone in his treatment! The cast on Kenz's foot was finally removed, and his progress was impressive. Dr. Micah shared the excellent news with his father that Kenz's clubfoot had been successfully corrected. Although he still experiences discomfort and cannot stand alone, Kenz shows bravery by attempting to take a few steps. After Kenz’s cast was removed, the medical team said the next course of treatment was for Kenz to use walking boots and a night brace. Kenz was thrilled with the color of his new shoes. Kenz and his father have been residing in the guest house for several months, and Kenz misses his hometown. Let us pray that during their next visit, Kenz and his father will receive the green light to return home. Your continued support and prayers will be deeply appreciated!

Ruel
Philippines - Age 18
It's a bustling day at the orthopedic clinic, and we're thrilled to welcome back our friend, Ruel! After his previous surgery, Ruel and his mother returned to their province. During his follow-up appointment, Dr. Micah requested an X-ray examination of Ruel's operated leg. The results brought good news as the healing progress was satisfactory. Ruel is now scheduled for the removal of his surgical pins, which will take place next month! While waiting for his upcoming appointment, Ruel and his mother will stay in the city. For families like Ruel's, who live far away from Tebow CURE, the need to be near the hospital for routine check-ups presents a significant challenge. We are grateful for the support of partner organizations like Seeds of Dignity, who assist our patients with housing arrangements. Our dedicated social worker is helping Ruel and his mother navigate the process of securing lodging at the guest house. Please take a moment to uplift Ruel's spirits by sending him messages of encouragement and keeping him in your prayers. Thank you for your kindness!

Dean
Philippines - Age 10
“My aunt promised to buy me basketball shoes when my foot is straightened. I want to play basketball with other kids.”, Dean shared. Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dean for his second cast change. During our conversation with Dean's mother, she expressed her deep appreciation to Tebow CURE for providing much-needed help for Dean. She was grateful that Dean was finally receiving the assistance he required. "People would question why I let my son grow with this condition. Some blamed me and judged me as a bad mother. I tried finding ways to help Dean when he was younger, but we did not push through due to unfortunate circumstances. But, I truly believe this is God’s perfect timing,” Mommy Cristina expressed. We will see Dean again soon for his next follow-up appointment!
