Rizamol stopped back in for her next progressive cast. It's a slow process, but she's doing great, and each one ensures she will have better results once it's time for surgery. She'll be back again after two weeks for yet another one! Please keep praying determination and stamina for her. It's a tough process!
Carlite has been visiting the Tebow CURE outpatient clinic weekly for her wound cleaning, but this week has been different! She was sent to the operating room for debridement, a procedure for intensely cleaning a wound that had been infected. While Carlite was waiting for her turn in the OR, we visited her. She felt anxious, but Child Mentor Sharyl read her a verse in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxieties to Him because He cares for you." This verse comforted and reminded Carlite that she could surrender all her worries to God! Please help Carlite feel the love and comfort by praying and sending her get-well messages!
Reyglen arrived early at the follow-up clinic today for his appointment! We noticed he was wearing a DIY arm sling, as her mother called it. His arm sling had broken! His mother made an improvised arm sling out of an old t-shirt, and when the Tebow CURE medical team saw it, they gave him a brand-new arm sling! Reyglen had his cast reinforced today to keep his bones in place while healing. While the medical team did his casting, he couldn't help but cry because of the pain. Let's continue to pray for him and cheer him up by sending get-well messages!
Gelian immediately approached and greeted us when we saw her in the clinic today! Today is her post-surgery follow-up appointment. The medical team did a cast reinforcement for her. This procedure will help hold her bones in place while healing. We will see Gelian again for her next procedure after three weeks! Please continue praying for her healing and send some get-well messages to encourage her!
Ruel is back again for surgery! This time, the medical team removed the surgical pins that were used to correct his bone's alignment. Ruel transitioned to wearing a knee hinge brace to support her operated leg. He was cleared for discharge and was sent home over the weekend! We will see him again next month for his follow-up appointment. Include him in your prayers, will you? Thanks!
