What We Do
Prayer & Bedside Ministry
Comforting children and families with good news from God’s Word
The disability community is one of the largest unreached groups in the world; less than 10 percent of people with disabilities are reached with the gospel.
About Prayer & Bedside Ministry
Children with disabilities are often rejected and stigmatized by their own communities—and sometimes even by their own families. In addition to treating their physical burdens through world-class surgical care, CURE works to ease their emotional burdens by ministering with the love of Jesus in word and deed.
Through bedside ministry, CURE provides compassionate care for children and families regardless of religious or tribal affiliation. Our spiritual team members visit patients and caregivers to listen to their stories, offer prayers and counseling, share the gospel, and give words of encouragement (and the occasional toy). Partnering with other Christian organizations, CURE can provide patients with Bibles, audio Bibles, and Christian literature like The Jesus Story in mother-tongue languages.
