Our Hospitals
CURE has a comprehensive approach to providing surgical care for children with disabilities. We support their families and strengthen the capacity of local church and healthcare systems in the countries we serve.
What We Do
Only 10 percent of people with disabilities have been reached with the gospel. We’re changing that.
CURE is reaching children with disabilities, their families, and their communities through sharing the gospel message.

Biblical Counseling
Trained staff provide the counseling and support children and families need to heal from trauma. CURE nurtures partnerships with local churches and lay leaders who serve as volunteers and help counsel patients and their families.
Prayer & Bedside Ministry
CURE’s spiritual team members visit patients and caregivers to listen to their stories, offer prayers and counseling, share the gospel, and give words of encouragement and the occasional toy. For those who want them, CURE provides Bibles, audio Bibles, and other Christian literature in mother-tongue languages.
Play Therapy
Through play and art therapy, CURE provides a safe environment for children with disabilities to enjoy crafts and games, make new friends, begin to share their stories, and explore the love God has for them.

Mobile Clinics
CURE’s mobile clinics deliver medical and ministry care to children and families on the margins of society. The clinics offer medical services and refer children to receive surgery at our hospitals—and parents and children with disabilities can receive counseling, encouragement, and the good news of Jesus while talking with trusted Christian leaders.
Pastor Training
Some cultures hold false and harmful traditional beliefs about people with disabilities—even within the Christian church. CURE trains pastors and equips local churches to minister with the love of Jesus, helping communities dispel harmful myths and understand that children are not cursed because of their disabilities but rather loved by God.
Advocacy & Awareness
Because of harmful beliefs and structural barriers that exclude people with disabilities, children and families we serve are often kept at the margins—making it harder for them to receive care. We’re working to change that by training communities to care for and recognize the rights of people with disabilities.
Education & Prevention
CURE partners with local governments, healthcare systems, and churches to help them better serve and minister to children with disabilities in their communities—making healthcare more accessible to some of the most vulnerable in society.

High-quality surgical care begins well before a child enters the operating room.
Every day, CURE clinical teams provide life-changing surgery to children suffering from a wide range of disabilities.
To have the greatest impact, high-quality surgery is followed by intentional aftercare.
CURE’s approach to healing goes beyond simply treating symptoms. We minister in word and deed to address the root of the difficulties facing children with disabilities.
More healthcare workers are needed to serve the millions of children living with treatable disabilities. We’re training them.
