Faith
Uganda - Infant
Great news, everyone; Faith’s surgery, performed by Dr. Emma, was successful! Her procedure didn’t take long as she had little fluid in her brain. Faith's mom Concy says she is pleased with what God is doing in her daughter's life. "I prayed to God to stabilize my daughter's condition, and God has indeed answered my prayer. I give glory back to Him,” she proclaimed. Faith is now in the ward recovering, taking medication, and being closely monitored. We continue to put her life and healing into God’s faithful hands.
Brenton
Zimbabwe - Age 14
Brenton went to the OR for Percutaneous Achilles Tendon lengthening. It is a minimally invasive procedure to stretch a tight Achilles tendon and increase motion at the ankle joint. We thank God Brenton’s procedure ended successfully! As he returns to the ward to continue his recovery, kindly keep praying for him and sending him well wishes.
Joshua
Uganda - Age 13
Praise Jesus; Joshua recovered well from his surgery and was discharged over the weekend. Before he left, Joshua said he was in much better spirits. His dizziness and headaches have disappeared thanks to the care and monitoring of the medical team. “Because of the CURE Uganda staff and CURE donors, I am now able to chase my dream of becoming a doctor in the future,” Joshua stated. Joshua's mom Betty is very grateful for everything that has been done for her and her daughter. “We can't thank you enough for what you have done for us. May Almighty God bless you abundantly!” She expressed as she left. Please continue to keep this lovely family in your thoughts and prayers.
Favour
Zambia - Age 4
Our friend Favour surprised us by getting discharged! Although we didn’t get to say a proper goodbye, we’re glad Favour is well enough to go home. Let us continue praying for him as he continues healing in the comfort of his own home. Favour will return for a check-up in a couple of weeks.
