Rosemary lives in Kenya and has a leg deformity, and in Kenya the sort of specialty medical care Rosemary needs is scarce. There are 100 million children in the world just like Rosemary who have little hope for the future.
Many can't play with their friends or go to school, and when Rosemary grows up, things that we hope for like marriage or finding a job will be difficult or impossible...all because Rosemary has a curable disability! But you can change Rosemary's life forever.
You can help

What can you do?

You can help Rosemary right now. Maybe you can afford the $1000 that will provide the care she needs. Maybe you can offer $30. Or maybe you can introduce Rosemary to others who can help...

About Rosemary

Rosemary is still a baby, but she is a fighter. Every time I hear that a child had or has meningitis, my heart sinks. I know many children who have lost their lives from meningitis, or were left disabled. But Rosemary, she suffered from the condition, fought it and came out victorious.

The reason why Faith, had brought her daughter to the hospital was because she could not fold her knees. “When she was born, she was completely normal, but when she was still a few months old, she became very sick. We were constantly in and out of hospitals, trying to find a diagnosis. Weeks later we found out it was meningitis. I suspect that the knee contracture could have been as a result of that, but all in all I count my blessing, because I know the side effects could have been worse.” Faith told me as a smile began to emerge.

I am right along with Faith, so thankful that the side effect Rosemary did get is fixed with surgery! I am so excited for Rosemary to begin her healing journey with CURE, my prayer Is that she will grow up never knowing how cruel the world can be towards people with disabilities. Her future looks so bright and I am so thankful to the father for bringing her to us!!
