CURE Children’s Hospitals
CURE International is a global nonprofit network of children’s hospitals providing surgical care in a compassionate, gospel-centered environment. Services are provided at no cost to families because of the generosity of donors and partners like you.
CURE operates a global network of eight pediatric hospitals providing high-quality surgical and intentional ministry care for children with treatable disabilities. CURE supporters help provide services at no cost for families living in poverty.
CURE’S approach to healing goes beyond simply treating symptoms. We minister in word and deed to address the root of the difficulties facing children with disabilities.
Providing children and their families the Christ-centered counseling and support they need
Sharing comfort and encouragement from God’s Word
Providing games, crafts, and story times so children feel loved and cared for
Bringing medical and ministry care to children in remote regions
Training pastors and local churches to serve the disabled community and undo stigmas
Advocating for basic rights and removing barriers to healthcare for people with disabilities
Equipping and partnering with local governments, healthcare organizations, and churches to better serve children with disabilities
From their first meeting with a doctor to diagnostic testing and nutritional support, CURE is committed to ensuring children and families are prepared before, during, and after surgery.
X-rays and lab results help ensure that our doctors have all of the information needed to perform safe surgery.
The children we serve often suffer from malnutrition. We help them reach and maintain a healthy weight.
Medical teams meet with each patient to discuss different treatment options.
Once admitted to the hospital, patients and caretakers are provided with lodging and meals at no cost to the families.
Every day, CURE clinical teams provide life-changing surgery to children suffering from a wide range of disabilities.
After surgery, patients receive check-ups, physical and emotional therapy, and adaptive devices, like wheelchairs and crutches. The path to recovery even includes fun in the playroom.
Helping children improve strength and mobility after surgery
Providing support and monitoring recovery to ensure the most successful surgical outcomes
Providing everything from leg braces to prosthetic limbs to restore mobility to children
Managing pain helps a child quickly recover from their surgery
Providing devices like wheelchairs so children can navigate the world and maintain independence
More healthcare workers are needed to serve the millions of children living with treatable disabilities. We’re training them.
Neurological conditions leave children the most vulnerable. CURE Uganda’s training program has created a pipeline of skilled neurosurgeons.
Medicine and ministry go hand in hand. We’re training local workers to meet surgical needs and share the love of Jesus.
Regions where we serve lack training institutions. We are accredited by the The College of Surgeons of East, Central, and Southern Africa to host residencies and fellowships to train the next generation of surgical specialists.
Excellence requires training. We offer year-long fellowships for doctors who seek specialized training in programs like orthopedics and neurosurgery.
CURE hospitals train surgical residents as part of their orthopedic or pediatric neurosurgical training programs through the government.

Without treatment, these conditions prevent kids from doing the most kid-like things: walking to church and school, running to fetch water, and playing with friends. Just as painful, their visible disability leads to isolation and exclusion.
CURE’s surgeons treat orthopedic conditions at our hospitals in Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Niger, Philippines, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
With a gift of $1,500, you can change the story for a child suffering
with a condition like clubfoot, bowed legs, or knock knees.
YOU SPONSOR A SURGERY

WE’LL MATCH YOU WITH A CHILD IN NEED
