YOU SPONSOR A SURGERY

Make a gift that provides surgical and ministry care for one or more children. It costs between $1,000 – $2,000 to sponsor one child.

WE’LL MATCH YOU WITH A CHILD IN NEED

Our donor representatives will let you know when your gift has been matched with a child awaiting surgery. This may take up to 30 days.

YOU’LL RECEIVE UPDATES

We’ll send you updates on their progress, and you can access their patient portal to send messages of encouragement.

WHAT DOES SURGERY SPONSORSHIP COVER?

When you sponsor a surgery for a child in need, the impact of your generosity extends well beyond the operating room. You provide comprehensive medical and ministry care that supports all aspects of a child’s healing, including:

  pre-operative care, surgery, & post-operative care
  spiritual ministry & counseling
  Bibles & children’s books about Jesus
  mobility & assistive device fitting
  diagnostics (e.g., x-rays & CT scans)
  prescriptions & medication
  physical therapy
  physician examinations & clinics

How soon will I be matched with a child needing surgery?

Your CUREgiver representative will work to match you with a child needing the type of surgery you chose your gift to go toward. You will receive an email between one to three weeks later.

What does my gift cover?

Your generosity provides comprehensive care for a child that covers everything from screening, surgery, and nutritional support to medication and rehabilitative therapy. Click here to learn more.

How do I get updates on the child's progress?

After logging into your custom portal, simply click the ‘Follow’ button next to the profile of the child you’ve sponsored and you will receive an email every time they reach a milestone in their journey. Those milestones include: screening, surgery, recovery, physical therapy, discharge, follow-up appointments, and a celebration when the doctor says their treatment is finished!

How can I send a message of encouragement to the child I am sponsoring?

In your custom portal, you will see a tab labeled ‘Send a Message’, simply click the tab and fill out the form with your encouragement and/or prayer. Staff at the hospital will read (and translate) your message to the child, making their day special and ministering to their heart.
