Follow-Up Appointments
Ensuring children are cared for through all the stages of recovery
A child’s healing journey doesn’t end right after surgery, and neither does CURE’s comprehensive approach to care. Patients need regular check-ups to monitor recovery and ensure the best outcomes.
About Follow-Up Appointments
CURE International Children’s Hospitals are high-quality facilities with specialist surgeons, physicians, and healthcare workers dedicated to providing continuing comprehensive care for children with disabilities. That means CURE walks alongside children and their caregivers throughout every step of the journey—from check-in to discharge and beyond.
All patients are scheduled for follow-up appointments so doctors can monitor their recovery—all at no cost to patients and their families. Many times these appointments take place at mobile clinics near the patient’s home. During appointments, doctors can perform bandage and cast changes, prescribe needed medicines, check up on stitches, and address any concerns.
