CURE care goes beyond the operating room to minister to the patients, families, and communities we serve. At each hospital, our spiritual ministry team shares the love of Christ in both word and deed.

Who are our ministry workers?

CURE hospitals are filled with pastors, ministers, social workers, and trained counselors who are committed to helping kids heal and sharing the love of Jesus.

Are they trained?

Our ministry team is made up of ordained pastors and trained child specialists and counselors.

Are they full-time employees or missionaries?

All hospital staff are full- or part-time employees.

Do CURE hospitals partner with ministry organizations or local churches?

CURE partners with national and international ministries and local churches to better serve children with disabilities.

CURE’s Ministry Roles

These roles serve to provide spiritual and emotional care to children with treatable disabilities.

Spiritual Director

Each hospital has a spiritual director who coordinates all the ministry programs, chapel services, staff devotionals, volunteers, and community outreach programs.

Ward Pastor

Ward pastors serve as the hands, feet, and heart of Christ by providing spiritual care and pastoral shepherding to the patients and families at CURE.

Child Mentor

Child mentors model and share the gospel with children one-on-one and in groups by organizing playtime and crafts, Bible lessons and stories, and times of worship and prayer.

Outreach Coordinator

Outreach coordinators help organize and plan mobile clinics and community events to raise awareness about disability.
