
Valerie Williams
Head of People & Culture / US
As Head of People at Culture at CURE, Valerie is responsible for all people-centered activities in support of the strategic plan of CURE. She oversees global human resources functions of the people and culture department including vision and strategy, talent acquisition, human resources operational standards, longevity and engagement, and development resources for co-workers that propel the mission forward. She is responsible for articulating and representing human resource needs to the executive leadership team and providing support to senior management teams across the hospital network.
Valerie loves it when people inside of the organization understand their God-given gifts and abilities to unite, working as one team and towards one mission. At CURE, she’s excited to bring her faith and her vast experience in human resources to contribute to CURE. She is committed to ensuring that each hospital has the support and resources needed through being connected, equipped, and empowered to heal the sick and proclaim the kingdom of God.
Prior to joining CURE, Valerie served in human resources management with Shape Corp., a global automotive manufacturing supplier. She has a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University and is a graduate of the Human Capital Academy credential program through the Human Capital Institute.
In her free time, she loves being outdoors, working in the yard, and taking family bicycle rides. She leads praise and worship as a vocalist at her local church. She and her husband, Michael, have four sons whom they enjoy cheering on in their many activities.
