Debebe Letta

Program and Development Director / Ethiopia

Debebe Letta serves as Program and Development Director, where he is responsible for the acquisition and management of grants, government relations, monitoring and evaluation, communications, and outreach clinics.

Debebe has been with CURE Ethiopia since 2017, most recently as the Program Manager. He has a degree in agricultural engineering from Alemaya University of Agriculture (now Haramaya University) and a master’s in project planning and management from YOM Postgraduate College. He is currently studying for a master of divinity degree online from International Theological Seminary in California. 

Before serving with CURE, Debebe worked at CARE International, World Vision International, and ActionAid International. 

In all his work with CURE, he considers it a privilege to serve vulnerable populations and loves making a difference in the lives of children every day.

When he’s not at the hospital, he likes to spend time with his family and participate in spiritual activities. He’s married to Woinshet Sisay and blessed with two children, Abigail and Henok, whom he believes are the most precious gifts from God.
