Sofiane is the second born in a family of four children. He came to CURE Niger to seek help for his fingers. Sofiane suffers from congenital syndactyly which means that he was born with two of his fingers (his ring finger and little finger) stuck together on both hands.

Sofiane's family had traveled to Niamey for some holidays when his mother met a friend who had a son treated at here CURE Niger. This friend inspired Rachida to bring Sofiane to our hospital to finally get the help he needs to have full use of his hands for the first time in his life!

Sofiane's mother is very glad to have been admitted to our hospital and is pleased by the warm welcome she received from our medical team.
