Beki is a friendly little guy! He loves playing with most of the children in the ward. He came to CURE Ethiopia with his father Safao to seek help for his leg problem. A couple of months back, he was out with his father Safao in their compound. While his father on the ladder working, Beki tried to climb the ladder like his dad but accidentally fell and hurt his leg. “He walked and everything was fine for a few days after the accident, but after a little while, he started to complain of pain. So, we took him to a hospital,” Safao, Beki’s father explained. After staying in the hospital for a couple of months, Beki’s leg didn’t show any progress, and his father started looking for other help. He finally heard about CURE Ethiopia from a previous patient of ours and brought Beki to CURE Ethiopia for treatment.

Please join us in welcoming Beki and his father as they start their healing journey!

"Take a photo," Beki requested when he saw us today. He came back for his check-up, and he is in great health. The big cast which covers his leg and lower part of his abdomen was removed, and he was so happy about that. Afterward, he was measured for a brace that will support his leg and knee. We will see him again when he returns to get his brace. Please keep this little guy in your prayers. Photo of Beki
