Changing Lives Since 2002

Beit-CURE Children’s Hospital of Malawi has been a place of hope since opening its doors in 2002. The hospital is internationally recognized by the College of Surgeons of East, Central, and Southern Africa (COSECSA). Located in Blantyre, our teaching hospital has 58 beds, three operating rooms, and an outpatient clinic. In addition to performing 2,500+ life-changing reconstructive and orthopedic surgeries each year at no cost to patients, we minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of our patients and their communities.

By the Numbers

CURE Malawi provides surgical care to children regardless of their economic status, ethnicity, religious background, or gender. Support from generous donors makes it possible.

Before Surgery

Evance was born with a condition called clubfoot, which caused both of his feet to curve inward and made it difficult to walk or attend school.
