A gift from your will or other asset-based giving
can be one of the most meaningful and impactful
gifts you make, changing lives now and in the future.

“For where your treasure is,
there your heart will be also.”

— Matthew 6:21

Strategic Ways to Give

Gifts in a Will or Trust

When you give a gift in a will or trust (also known as a bequest), you model to your loved ones a steadfast commitment to financial stewardship, generous living, and supporting the kingdom of God.

Sample Language for Your Will or Trust

“I hereby give to CURE International, Inc, a nonprofit organization, Taxpayer Identification Number 58-2248383, the [sum of $________] or [________% of the residue of my estate], to be used for its general medical and ministry purposes.”

Gifts from Your IRA

If you are 70 ½ or older, you can make gifts directly from your Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) AND reduce your taxable income. You can give to CURE International without any federal tax liability if the gifts are qualified charitable distributions (QCDs). Distributions qualify for all, or part of an IRA owner’s required minimum distribution (RMD).

How to Make a Gift from an IRA

Designate CURE International as a beneficiary on the forms provided by your account manager, specifying the amount you want to give. Here is some information you will need to designate your gift:

Legal Name: CURE International, Inc.

Address: 70 Ionia Ave SW, Suite 200, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Federal Tax ID: 58-2248383

• Real estate
• Life insurance
• Retirement benefits
• Farm commodities
• Business interests
• Gold and jewelry

Gifts That Pay You Income

A Charitable Gift Annuity is a simple, secure arrangement that provides an income to you or a loved one, offers substantial tax benefits, and benefits children with disabilities around the world through CURE. You can give cash or other property and receive steady income for the rest of your life or a designated amount of time. The remainder will benefit the ministry of CURE.

Donor-Advised Fund

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable investment account that is an increasingly popular way to make charitable gifts. DAFs can provide immediate tax benefits when you deposit cash or proceeds from appreciated assets into a giving account. Then you recommend grants to your favorite charities, like CURE.
