Beka Watts has served with CURE since December 2013. She gets to spend her days sharing stories of life-changing healing across a variety of platforms, including CURE’s blog and social media channels, and also frequently travels to CURE hospitals and program locations as part of the media team. She has been schooled on what real faith looks like by a grandmother in Malawi, cried on park bench with a mom in the Dominican Republic, and witnessed what happens when darkness turns to light over and over and over again.

There is no doubt in her mind that she has the best job in the world.

Beka graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2008. Prior to joining CURE, she did just about everything, including but not limited to: working in Residence Life and as an Admissions Counselor for Roberts Wesleyan College, perfecting the art of multi-toddler transportation as a nanny, freelance writing for innumerable publications, and driving around the country in a minivan to do volunteer farming.

Beka enjoys making good food and laughing with good friends. If there isn’t a coffee cup in her hand, something is wrong. You can follow her travels on Instagram using the hashtag #bekagoes.
