CURE Benefits

Compensation & Retirement Plan

CURE is an associate member of MedSend, an organization that makes monthly educational loan payments on behalf of medical missionaries while they serve around the world. Medical field co-workers with CURE are invited to apply for this loan repayment program during their service with CURE.

CURE provides a retirement plan for field co-workers. After 6 months of employment, CURE contributes 5% of earnings.

Unlike most mission organizations, we do not require our field co-workers to raise funds. We strive to provide reasonable compensation for our field co-workers.

Education & Training

CURE will provide reasonable financial assistance for a field co-worker and their eligible dependents to undergo local language training.

CURE will sponsor the field co-worker and their eligible dependents for participation in a pre-field cross-cultural orientation program. These programs are designed to help a field co-worker and their eligible dependents develop practical skills.

CURE may assist a field co-worker with tuition and related expenses for educational programs that are related to their position with CURE.

Family & Leave

CURE will provide thirty (30) calendar days, which includes one round-trip airfare per family member, per year. One additional week of paid, in-country leave will also be provided.

CURE co-workers are eligible for holidays and maternity/paternity leave.

Living Allowances

CURE will provide reasonable funds for housing. This does not include utilities or ancillary expenses. In addition, depending on the local circumstances, CURE will provide reasonable funds for security services.

CURE will either provide a vehicle or allowance for in-country transportation.

Relocation allowance will be provided to assist the field co-worker with shipping costs and/or purchase of household goods in-country. The amount of relocation assistance will vary depending on the field co-worker’s country of origin (home country) and destination country (host country).

Repatriation of the same amount will be provided to the field co-worker (upon completion of the field assignment) to transition home.

CURE will provide financial allowance for dependent children of CURE field co-workers who attend school between kindergarten (or its equivalent) and high school.
