GRAND RAPIDS, MI – May 28, 2025: To deliver the gospel to more children around the world, CURE International, a Christian nonprofit operating a global network of pediatric surgical hospitals, has announced a new ministry partnership with Biblica, the global Bible ministry. This kingdom collaboration will provide 87,300 Bibles in 22 different local languages to children and their families receiving surgical care at CURE hospitals worldwide, offering comfort through God’s Word during a vulnerable season of life.
CURE International’s eight hospitals across Africa and the Philippines provide free surgical care for children with treatable disabilities, including clubfoot, cleft lip, hydrocephalus, and spina bifida. In addition, CURE shares the love of Jesus with every child who walks through its doors. For many young patients and their families, this season of healing also becomes a turning point of eternal significance.
“Every day, our hospitals are not just helping children walk and talk, but grow in faith in Jesus Christ,” said Justin Narducci, President and CEO of CURE International. “Our partnership with Biblica places the living Word of God directly into the hands of those we serve, planting seeds of faith that will grow for a lifetime.”
Biblica, founded in 1809, has faithfully stewarded the global translation and distribution of Scripture in formats and languages that meet people right where they are. Now in its third century of ministry, Biblica continues to innovate, ensuring the Bible is available, accessible, and transformational—especially for those facing spiritual and physical poverty.
“Kingdom collaboration is at the heart of everything we do,” said Geof Morin, President and CEO of Biblica. “To deliver life-changing Bibles to those who need them, we depend on strategic partners serving as the hands and feet of Jesus on the very frontlines of gospel mission. That’s why we’re so excited about this new ministry partnership with CURE International. They are providing compassionate, Christ-centered care to children and their families who desperately need to experience the healing love of God. We pray that this new supply of Bibles for children and adults will bring the comfort and love of Jesus to thousands in their hour of need.”
The partnership is funded through the generosity of donors to both Biblica and CURE. These faithful gifts are already making an eternal impact—offering hope to families who may otherwise feel lost in suffering. Children like Hawa in Malawi are a testament to the power of this mission. While receiving treatment for a limb condition at a CURE hospital, she discovered the deep peace of God’s Word. Hawa even posted her favorite verse above her hospital bed: “…always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Ephesians 5:20, NIV).
This new initiative ensures that every child who finds life-changing medical care at CURE can also receive the Good News in their own language—empowering them to grow in faith long after they leave the hospital.
