5 Ways to Change a Life This Christmas

In the countries where CURE serves, children with treatable conditions face a lifetime of disability simply because they can’t access the specialized surgery they need. Without treatment, they are unable to attend school or find employment—trapping families in a cycle of poverty.
But you can bring hope to these children and their families! Last Christmas, we introduced our first-ever holiday gift catalog. And now, we’re thrilled to share our 2025 edition: A Christmas to CURE. In the catalog, you’ll find dozens of meaningful ways you can help more of these children this holiday season.
For many, the necessity for healing is growing more critical by the day. But life-changing care at CURE requires specialized equipment, skilled surgeons, ministry support, and more. From critical medical tools to essential ministry resources, the gifts below are 5 of the most urgent needs at our hospitals.

Clubfoot Surgery
Last year, CURE hospitals performed 1,973 surgeries to treat clubfoot, a congenital condition where one or both feet curve inward, making walking difficult and often painful. Without surgery, these children are excluded from school and job opportunities, leaving their families struggling to escape poverty.

Surgeon Training
Every CURE hospital functions as a teaching hospital for training the next generation of surgeons through our residency and fellowship programs. That means every surgery is a chance to transform a child’s life—and train a future specialist to build stronger local healthcare systems in the countries we serve.

Surgery Supplies
Behind every successful surgery at a CURE hospital are the essential tools and supplies that make it possible. Last year, CURE hospitals performed 20,358 life-changing surgical procedures, so gowns, bandages, gauze, sutures, and much more are in constant demand.

Treat A Malnourished Child
Many children arrive at CURE hospitals too malnourished to safely undergo surgery. To give them a fighting chance, we’ve developed a nutrition plan that provides the vital nourishment and care needed to build their health so they can face surgery stronger and heal quicker.

Biblical Counseling
Living with a life-limiting disability can cause great distress and emotional trauma for patients and their parents. When surgery becomes an option, they are overjoyed—and, of course, anxious. Biblical counseling helps provide care to a patient or caregiver in need of God’s peace and guidance.
Are You Willing to Help?
Because of CURE’s generous supporters, patients and their families never pay a dime for the care they receive. Last Christmas, we introduced our first-ever holiday gift catalog featuring these 5 urgent needs and dozens of other opportunities to support CURE’s mission. And now we’re thrilled to share our 2025 gift catalog, A Christmas to CURE.
By giving the gift of healing, you can help restore a child’s health and dignity—and bring hope to their entire family.

Your generosity turns pain into possibility and disability into opportunity. One transformed life at a time, you can make this A Christmas to CURE for a child in need!
