The Accountant at CURE plays a crucial role in creating financial transactions and generating reports, posting data to the accounting software (Odoo) from invoices, vouchers, and credit card receipts. This role involves managing budgets across various projects and departments, requiring strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with project managers and department heads. The Accountant ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with grant requirements, and optimal resource allocation, supporting CURE's mission. CURE International is a global nonprofit network of children’s hospitals that provide surgical care in a compassionate, gospel-centered environment. Services are provided at no cost to families because of the generosity of donors and partners around the world.
The International Accounting Manager provides support and oversight to CURE’s hospitals in Africa ensuring consistency and compliance with CURE’s mission, core values and operating guidelines. This position maintains a special focus on providing accounting support, financial integrity and record keeping by supporting the hospitals in budget preparation, compliance, and reporting. The International Accounting Manager is also responsible for internal audit and review functions for the hospitals and assists in policy and standards creation and implementation.
The work location for this position can be remote work from a location on the continent of Africa, office based from the CURE Regional Office in Nairobi, Kenya, or hospital based from a CURE Hospital location if one is located in your home country. Relocation is not offered for this position. All CURE required travel expenses will be covered by the organization.
Frequency of travel will be up to 40%. Travel will be required to provide support to hospital accounting teams, with an average of 4-5 country visits every 6 months.
Ideal candidates will be located on continent in Africa with easy access to airports for business travel.

We are seeking candidates for an opportunity to be a Senior Major Gifts Officer which acts as a professional representative of CURE to develop proposals and reports that secure funds for the organization by thoughtfully managing a group of assigned and qualified donor relationships (caseload).
Through building intentional caring relationships and plans, the Senior Major Gifts Officer has the responsibility for assuring as many donors as possible are retained as continuing donors and are consistently invited to join CURE in additional giving and involvement. The Officer will also focus on the identification of new partners in an assigned, but non-limiting, region of the United States.
This is a remote position and is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Preference will be given to applicants located in the Eastern United States and in the Southeastern United States regions.
