CURE's Mission Support Center in Spring Lake, MI occasionally utilizes volunteers to assist in various tasks around our office. Our volunteer hours are typically Monday-Friday 9am-4:00pm. Must be 18 or older to volunteer your services. If you are interested in serving in this capacity please complete this application.

CURE International is excited to partner with the Tim Tebow Foundation and mobilize medical volunteers to our hospitals. CURE is focused on pediatric specialty surgery and welcome medical health care workers who are trained in the following areas:

• Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons
• Pediatric Neurosurgeons
• Pediatric Plastic Surgeon
• Pediatric Anesthesiologists
• Registered Nurses
• Physical Therapists

When you are applying please keep in mind that most trips take 6-9 months to plan, from the first time you connect with CURE until you land on the ground. Here is what  to expect of the application process:

• Application is submitted by potential volunteer.
• CURE's Global Outreach Office reviews application. 
• A request for reference is sent to potential volunteer.
• A representative of the Global Outreach Office sends the reference an email and a phone/written interview is completed with potential volunteer. 
• Potential volunteer's application is submitted to the hospital for pre-approval
• If pre-approved, volunteer is asked to complete background check
• After the background check is completed, the volunteer is approved and will begin working on the next steps of preparation. 

NOTE: Due to COVID, CURE hopes to begin mobilizing volunteers again in 2023. Also CURE is currently requiring all volunteers to provide proof of COVID vaccination.

CURE International is excited to partner with the Tim Tebow Foundation and mobilize volunteers to our hospitals. CURE is focused on pediatric specialty surgery and welcome volunteers who are passionate of being the hands and feet of Jesus to our patients and their caregivers. If that is you, then consider joining a one of our GO Teams. 

GO Teams are filled with relational ministry opportunities and represent a patchwork of skills and gifts that serve and engage the patients, families, and communities of our hospitals. GO Teams come alongside our national co-workers in the following ways:

• Connect and pray with patients at their bedside and before surgery.
• Children's ministry Bible stories, crafts and songs.
• Follow up with patients in their homes to encourage their growth in Christ and physical healing.

GO Teams are for individuals who are looking for an opportunity to serve, but do not have an established team. If you represent a church or a school that has a team assembled please contact us at [email protected] to discuss creating your own GO Team. 

When you are applying  for a GO Team please keep in mind that most trips take 6-9 months to plan, from the first time you connect with CURE until you land on the ground. Here is what  to expect of the application process:

• Application is submitted by potential volunteer.
• CURE's Global Outreach Office reviews application. 
• A request for reference is sent to potential volunteer.
• A representative of the Global Outreach Office sends the reference an email and a phone/written interview is completed with potential volunteer. 
• Team members are selected for pre-approval
• If pre-approved, volunteer is asked to complete background check
• After the background check is completed, the volunteer is approved.

Once you are accepted on the team you will receive information on necessary travel documents (passport, flights...), support raising and cultural orientation. Team members will also be required to attend three team conference calls.

When you apply for a CURE GO Team trip you are committing to:

• Adhere and understand CURE’s mission and values as you serve.
• Financially cover expenses related to your trip. Payment will be due in three installments.
• Participate in the 3 mandatory team conference calls (calls are typically Sunday evenings at 9:00pm EST)
• Pray daily for your trip, the team and the hospital.
• Read Serving with Eyes Wide Open by David Livermore (book provided) and begin to learn about the culture you will be serving.
