CURE in Philippines

The picture above is of CURE in Philippines. Everyone who serves with CURE in Philippines, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Eurie. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.

We need to raise approximately $1000 to treat children like Eurie. When you give a gift through Eurie's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Philippines. Have more questions? Ask us.

Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!

When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Eurie. We call it being a CURE Hero!

Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

“When I grow up, I want to become a doctor so I can treat those who are sick!” Eurie tells us.

Eurie is a boy with a zest for life! “I am currently in fifth grade, and I love to stroll around the neighborhood and watch movies with my friends and little brother, Ashton!” he tells us.

Eurie is active and always up for an adventure! He loves to play! “Last year, I was climbing up a jackfruit tree. However, I fell down when one of my friends startled me,” Eurie told us. What was supposed to be fun resulted instead in a fractured arm. “We were told that Eurie needs surgery, but we do not have enough financial resources for that. Instead, we resorted to herbal treatments and massage but none of it worked,” Ellezer, Eurie’s dad, told us. Ellezer works as a farmer in a banana plantation and Eurie’s mom, Flora Mae, works as a caretaker to provide for the family. Because of his condition, Eurie’s has had his fair share of struggles. “I find it difficult to fetch water and carry the bucket back to our home. I also get bullied a lot which affects my performance in school,” Eurie said.

Thankfully, through Eurie’s Aunt Joy, they learned about Tebow CURE. Eurie dreams about becoming a doctor someday. He feels fortunate to be at a CURE hospital for treatment and have the opportunity to learn more about becoming a doctor from doctors themselves!

New years, new beginnings! We thank God that Eurie will begin with therapy now that his surgical pins are removed from his arm! Since he was not able to move his arm properly for over a year, he spent time with the physical therapists and learned some stretching exercises to improve his mobility and flexibility. He will be back again in six weeks for a follow up! Photo of Eurie

We are glad to see Eurie up and smiling when we visited him! He smiled all the more when he read your get well messages! “I’m happy that people are praying for me!” he told us. Since he is feeling well, and he was given the green light to go home! We cannot wait to see Eurie with his sweet smile again in two weeks! Photo of Eurie

Eurie was up early today since he was the first in line to undergo surgery. The medical team started with a prayer lifting up Eurie’s healing to the hands of the Greatest Doctor. Since Eurie’s humerus (upper arm bone) is fractured, Doctor Jun cut the tip of the elbow and repositioned the bone fragments into their normal alignment and held it in place with pins. Afterward, Eurie’s arm was placed on a splint which he needs to use for a couple of weeks. Just like Daniel who was kept safe in the lion’s den, we praise God for Eurie’s successful surgery and protection! Photo of Eurie

Eurie first came here to Tebow CURE for a screening last week through the referral of his Aunt, Joy. A few days later, he is back and was finally admitted this morning! Eurie went up the playroom where Child Mentor Patricia spent time getting to know him and sharing the story of Daniel in the Bible. He wishes to emulate the kind of bravery and courage Daniel has as he undergoes surgery tomorrow. Please keep Eurie in your prayers - that he will experience healing and hope as he stays with us for a couple of days! Photo of Eurie
