Everyone who serves with CURE in Malawi, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Aggrey. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.

We need to raise approximately $1000 to treat children like Aggrey. When you give a gift through Aggrey's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Malawi. Have more questions? Ask us.

Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!

When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Aggrey. We call it being a CURE Hero!

"I have never seen such condition before in Aggrey’s family history,” said Aggrey’s auntie Sofia. “Aggrey was born normal and he was this way until he was three months old. Then he developed a swollen right knee. Aggrey’s mother was so worried that her son would lose the leg due to the swelling which kept getting worse and worse." Sofia remembers wearily. "As a family, we had to find help for Aggrey before the swelling got any worse. The first time, we went to a local hospital. We were hopeful that Aggrey will now be healed, but they couldn't help and by this time his leg had developed a big, painful open sore. A month later, his leg began bending in. It was so hard for us as people who love him to understand what really was happening. His father took him back to the same local hospital where one of the doctors told him about CURE Malawi. We met CURE and today we are here at the hospital for treatment. I have seen a few children in the ward and when I see Aggrey, I totally have hope that he will be walking out of this hospital! Aggery will be well. Help us to pray that this treatment would be in favor of Aggrey and that his parents back home should have peace and hope.”

“Aggrey would not say anything that he would want to play after his treatment apart from soccer. He loves the ball so much and sometimes I worry that will not that cause him severe damage. Aggrey has been going to school and what turns him down is the fact his friends at school laugh at him. This, however, does not stop Aggrey from going to school. His grade one teachers have come to love him and care for him now,” Sofia told us about her nephew. “CURE will help Aggrey with his knock knees and we are so grateful for this,” Aggrey’s auntie is very positive that Aggrey will definitely be well and this will help Aggrey to feel positive too!
