Innocent
Malawi - Age 15
Spiritual support is vital at this point where Innocent is recovering from his second frame surgery and having physical therapy. Our spiritual team went to his bed and gave him a snack in addition to counseling! This boy has a few days of physical therapy and will go home! Please continue to remember Innocent in your prayers.

Chitani
Malawi - Age 13
Here’s a beautiful moment of Chitani (boy seated on a bed), his brother Madalitso and our Physical therapist Bess praying after physical therapy! It was a prayer of thanksgiving to God for restoring Chitani’s joy and hope. "I cannot wait to see my feet fully corrected. Very soon, you will watch me run, playroom football, and be free to wear shoes I like!” Chitani proclaimed. Please keep Chitani in your prayers, as he will have his last physical therapy sessions and then go home to continue healing from there!

Andrew
Malawi - Age 10
And just like that, Andrew was already up and running a day after his surgery! Seeing how well he recovered, Andrew’s doctor decided to discharge him. Andrew was encouraged to continue physical therapy and enjoy being home with his family and friends! This boy needs your prayers as he will heal at home for weeks before our CURE Malawi doctors see him again soon!

Rafik
Malawi - Age 16
Each stage of healing has its challenges, and overcoming those challenges propels one into healing! Rafik is now at the stage where his physical therapy exercises like walking will help to enhance his leg’s healing. "This week, I have learned how sometimes suffering or pain brings out the good things and healing God wants us to experience. My physical therapy sessions have challenged me to become strong and slowly experience healing," said Rafik. Please continue to pray for this young man as he goes on his healing journey each day.

Rafik
Malawi - Age 16
Rafik has had his surgery! Putting a metal frame around his leg took more than four hours! Our team of CURE Malawi doctors started one leg at a time so that this boy can walk with the other leg, which has not been operated on. The frame will be gradually adjusted over the coming weeks and months, straightening his leg slowly but surely. This process is painful but one of the most effective ways to treat Rafik's condition! Your prayers for this young man would be greatly appreciated.
