CURE in Ethiopia

The picture above is of CURE in Ethiopia. Everyone who serves with CURE in Ethiopia, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Seada. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.

We need to raise approximately $1000 to treat children like Seada. When you give a gift through Seada's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Ethiopia. Have more questions? Ask us.

Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!

When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Seada. We call it being a CURE Hero!

Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

“I’m glad I found a place that will heal my little girl,” says Rahmet, Seada’s mother.

Seada came with her mother Rahmet seeking help for her cleft lip. This is not their first attempt looking for help to heal Seada, they live far from the capital and haven't been able to find a place that would give them the help Seada needs. They finally came to Addis Ababa and heard about CURE Ethiopia from another hospital. “I never saw anyone with a cleft lip or heard about it. When it happened to my daughter I was so shocked and got sick, I could not feed her either,” explained Rahmet. She continued, “Everyone in our village and my family were supportive, they have been helping me and comforting me but I did not believe there was healing for her. But after coming to the capital, the hospital we went to showed me pictures of kids who had a similar problem like my daughter and who got healed, that helped me a lot. That makes me believe that my daughter has a hope to be healed.” Seada is an only child for her parents and both of her parents are farmers. Join us in welcoming Seada and her family while they start their healing journey!
