Elizabeth
Kenya - Age 9
Elizabeth’s feet on the operating room table is a huge prayer answered for her entire family. She has always wondered how her daughter would grow up different from the rest and this opportunity for surgery presented to them is a golden one. We thank God that Elizabeth will come out of the OR one step closer to being disability free! Her first procedure simply involves cutting a tendon and lengthening it to stop it pulling her foot into this curved position. The doctor will also work on her bones to make them straight. A cast will be applied and in six weeks she will be ready for a doctors review. But before all that, let’s thank God for her surgery and pray that it is successful!

Monicah
Kenya - Age 6
Monicah is a cute little girl who wants to be a doctor when she grows up! Her mum told us she had a hard time when some blood needed to be drawn from her finger for some pre-surgery tests. So, to take her mind off things, her mom joked if she wanted to be a doctor, she would need to be courageous and not fear needles! We thank God that Monicah and her mum are here at CURE Kenya and we're praying for her upcoming surgery!

Elizabeth
Kenya - Age 9
“I want to be a doctor when I grow up so that I can help other people feel better when they are sick!” Elizabeth told us when we asked about her future plans. Elizabeth is a very bright girl and we thank God that she has a caring mum who is ready to do anything to help her live her dream!

Divon
Kenya - Age 11
Would you look at that! Divon is able to move around with his new walker. He even went as far as the toilet to relieve himself all by himself! This was just before his father had packed up their bags since Divon is being discharged today. We thank God and your continued support for his positive recovery and for a safe journey as he continues his recovery at home.

Divon
Kenya - Age 11
Pastor Peter visited Divon and his father in the ward. He encouraged them to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might during this time of recovery. Kindly join us in prayer and support for Divon during his time at CURE Kenya and for his family back home.
