Dr. Scott and Sally Harrison have dedicated their lives to giving hope to children suffering from treatable disabilities throughout the developing world.
Alistair Begg has been in pastoral ministry since 1975. Following graduation from the London School of Theology, he served eight years in Scotland at Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh and Hamilton Baptist Church.
In 1983, he became the senior pastor at Parkside Church near Cleveland, Ohio. He has written several books and is heard daily and weekly on the radio program Truth For Life. The teaching on Truth For Life stems from the week-by-week Bible teaching at Parkside Church. Alistair has been involved with CURE since 2022.
He and his wife, Susan, were married in 1975 and they have three grown children.
Steve Biondo currently serves as President of the Tim Tebow Foundation (TTF), which helps vulnerable children and families in nearly 90 countries around world by focusing on anti-human trafficking and child exploitation, orphan care and prevention, and serving children with profound medical needs.
TTF is a key partner in providing life-changing surgeries at four of CURE’s children’s hospitals. Before starting his role at TTF, Steve served as President of The James Fund, an orphan care ministry through Family Christian Stores.
He currently serves on several boards related to anti-human trafficking and orphan care. Steve and his wife, Chris, have three children.
Patrick Cameron is the CEO of RPC Ventures and an international businessman, entrepreneur, and financial advisor. He has built a successful portfolio of operating companies across diverse sectors, including real estate, manufacturing, aviation, and poultry, with a presence in the US and Africa.
Since his first visit to CURE Zambia in 2007, Patrick has been deeply involved in the ministry. Additionally, he’s played a key role in developing and expanding CURE Uganda’s neurosurgical hospital.
Outside of work, Patrick is an adventurer, pilot, and father to seven children. He and his wife, Jenny, enjoy traveling, fishing, supporting the Razorbacks, and spending quality time with close friends around the world.
Joni Eareckson Tada is an esteemed Christian stateswoman and respected global leader in disability advocacy.
Although a 1967 diving accident left her a quadriplegic, she emerged from rehabilitation with a determination to help others with similar disabilities.
Joni serves as CEO of Joni and Friends, a Christian organization that provides programs and services for thousands of families with special needs worldwide. Partnering together, CURE and Joni and Friends have developed a comprehensive training program to equip pastors in countries where CURE serves to better care for children living with treatable disabilities.
Appointed by President Ronald Reagan to the National Council on Disability and reappointed by President George H. W. Bush, Joni played a key advisory role in the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). She has also served as Senior Associate for Disability Concerns for the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization. A prolific author, artist, and speaker, Joni has shared her message of hope through books, radio, and media.
Joni and her husband, Ken, were married in 1982 and reside in Calabasas, California.
Chris Tomlin is an accomplished musician and author. He is the coauthor of the bestselling worship book Holy Roar and children’s title Good Good Father.
Chris is passionate about sharing God’s love in a practical way and used his 2015 Love Ran Red tour to introduce his fans to CURE’s mission, raising more than $700,000 to help kids heal.
Chris is one of only four music artists in any genre ever to receive the Sound Exchange Digital Radio Award for over 1 billion digital radio streams (joining only Justin Timberlake, Pitbull, and Garth Brooks). He has sold more than 8 million albums and 11.3 million digital tracks, and has had 16 number-one radio singles.
The Grammy winner’s list of music awards includes an American Music Award, three Billboard Music Awards, 21 Dove Awards, a BMI Songwriter of the Year Award, and more. In 2018, Chris launched his own imprint record label, Bowyer & Bow, in partnership with Capitol Christian Music Group.
