After surgery, patients receive check-ups, physical and emotional therapy, and adaptive devices, like wheelchairs and crutches. The path to recovery even includes fun in the playroom.

Often, these children are unable to attend school or find employment—pushing them and their family further into poverty.
These children are left behind.
They are pushed to the corners of their houses, villages, and communities because of the stigma associated with their conditions. Losing hope, they no longer play, learn, or participate in village life.
CURE hospitals change lives.
Over 25 years ago, led by their faith in Jesus, a group of people helped start a movement of specialized medical care in impoverished regions. Generous donors partnered with their vision, allowing access to life-changing surgery without financial barriers.
Today, CURE operates eight children’s hospitals in strategic regions around the world, offering free surgeries for kids who need it the most.
Our hospitals are known as high-quality medical centers where children experience the love of Jesus at every step in their healing journey.
Future doctors, nurses, and technicians trained at CURE hospitals are equipped to serve across their nations for decades to come.
Hospital staff work alongside local pastors and community leaders to prevent the abuse and neglect of children living with disabilities.
CURE has performed more than 373,000 life-changing surgeries.
