Today, CURE International was officially welcomed to its new international headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan by members of the community at a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony. Grand Rapids Mayor Rosalyn Bliss and other local leaders celebrated CURE International’s decision to choose their city as the global organization’s new home.

“Your work is nothing short of a miracle. I welcome your addition to our city’s growing healthcare sector and look forward to proudly telling others that my city is the home to CURE International.” — Grand Rapids Mayor Rosalyn Bliss.

The new headquarters, located at 70 Ionia Avenue SW, brings CURE’s corporate staff of 40 within steps of Grand Rapids’ thriving healthcare industry. The city is home to many leaders in the areas of healthcare, research, and education, including Michigan State, University of Michigan, Grand Valley State University, Ferris State University, and the Van Andel Institute.

“The major deciding factor to move to downtown Grand Rapids was to collaborate with the vibrant medical community in this city. As a global healthcare provider, we want to learn from industry leaders in Grand Rapids while also providing opportunities for local practitioners to use their talents to heal sick children across the globe.” — CURE International President and CEO Justin Narducci

CURE International first moved to Spring Lake, Michigan from New Cumberland, Pennsylvania in 2019 after merging with Michigan-based International Aid. CURE will keep its warehousing operations in Spring Lake.

“I believe this move unlocks a tremendous amount of untapped potential for good. CURE values collaborative partnerships that cultivate trust and authenticity. Grand Rapids is a place built on authenticity where collaboration is frequent and natural. I feel that CURE International is truly home in Grand Rapids.” — CURE International Board Chairman Jerry Tubergen

Apart from the strong medical community in Grand Rapids, the city is known for its generous people and has developed into a major hub for national and international nonprofit and philanthropic endeavours. Moreover, West Michigan is home to many of CURE International’s board members, making this location an exceptional location for future planning and corporate operations.
