CURE is more than hospitals. We are places of hope where children are healed physically and families experience the love of Jesus.
CURE International is a Christian nonprofit network of children’s hospitals that provides life-changing surgical care and intentional ministry support to children living with disabilities. Services are offered at no cost to families living in poverty and made possible by the generosity of donors worldwide.
At CURE, prayer is at the heart of everything we do. This is why we’re inviting you to join our team as a CURE Prayer Partner.
When Melese and Bekelech welcomed their seventh child, they named him Tamirat—“miracle.” Tamirat was born with bilateral clubfoot in rural Ethiopia, and his future seemed uncertain. He couldn’t attend school, play, or walk like other kids in his village.
But a stranger’s photo, a viral Facebook post, and a wave of compassion changed everything. Through a partnership with CURE Ethiopia and CBM, Tamirat received life-transforming care—two surgeries, months of treatment, and the love of a new community.
Today, he walks tall in his first pair of shoes and sings praises to the King of Kings. His story is a reminder: healing happens through miracles—and people like you.
For nearly 16 years, Ara Jane waited and prayed for healing. Born with a rare joint condition that bent her legs backward, she crawled to move, dropped out of school, and feared for her future.
But thanks to surgery at Tebow CURE Philippines—made possible by generous donors—Ara Jane is now walking tall, back in school, and dreaming big.
She even returned to encourage another girl with the same condition: “Don’t lose hope. Your healing will come.”
A bright, contagious smile and an enthusiastic thumbs-up are what you’ll see these days from Ismael. That’s because he’s able to walk easily and free of pain. But life wasn’t always this way.
At just 9 years old, he developed a joint condition in his right leg that caused his knee to hyperextend backward, preventing him from walking or attending school.
After surgery and compassionate care at CURE Niger, Ismael is back in school, working, and dreaming of becoming an electrician. “I am living the transformation and the real change,” he says.
