Help Malawi Flood Victims

Your gift helps CURE provide immediate surgical and ministry care to children injured by the devastating cyclone.

What Happened?

Cyclone Freddy, one of the most powerful tropical storms ever to hit the African nation of  Malawi, made landfall twice this spring. The ensuing flooding devastated the area and displaced more than 560,000 people, killing 511 people and injuring more than 1,300.

The catastrophic effects of the cyclone are still being felt across the region, with children in dire need of surgical care.

Your gift today will help children affected by the flooding who are in need of surgeries and support from Christian caregivers who will share the love of Jesus with them. Please give today.

How You Can Help

Children in Malawi are still in need, and your gift of any amount will provide surgeries and ministry care to children injured in the flood as well as those we serve with treatable disabilities.

CURE Children’s Hospital in Malawi remains open, and our colleagues are working overtime to provide necessary care. CURE’s spiritual and ministry team is trained to provide the trauma counseling and support children and families need after living through a natural disaster, losing their homes, and losing their loved ones. Your gift today will help children affected by the flooding who are in need of surgeries and support from Christian caregivers who will share the love of Jesus with them.

One surgery costs $1,000. Please give today to help a child!
