President’s Weekend is CURE’s annual gathering of friends, partners, donors, and key staff all working together to help kids heal. More than an event, it’s an experience that brings you close in to the incredible life change happening every day across our global network of children’s hospitals. No passport required! During this powerful weekend, you’ll engage with CURE’s leadership and hospital staff, enjoy notable keynote speakers and musical guests, and connect with the inspiring stories of children transformed by life-changing surgeries and the love of Jesus.
Outside of visiting one of our eight hospitals, attending President’s Weekend is the best way to see the mission of CURE in action. This gathering offers a meaningful opportunity to come together as a community, celebrate the progress we’ve made, and contribute to the continued work that is making a real difference in the lives of the children we serve. Your presence and support are invaluable as we work toward our shared goal of providing high quality medical and ministry care to children living with disabilities.
Registration is open! Please register as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly!
The CURE Board of Directors is delighted to host you for this exclusive weekend in Carlsbad, California. The only cost to you is your round-trip transportation, Friday and Saturday lunch, and any free time activities you choose to enjoy.
The weekend is thoughtfully designed to balance meaningful learning about the mission and impact of CURE and free time for you to connect with others or enjoy all that Southern California has to offer.
In general, each day includes:
- An optional early-morning prayer gathering followed by breakfast
- Morning and evening sessions with powerful keynote speakers, uplifting worship, and engaging presentations from those closest to the work of CURE
- Afternoons include optional breakout sessions though you are free to enjoy lunch on your own, connect with CURE staff and leadership, or explore the surroundings
While we’d love to have you with us for the entire weekend, we understand that your schedule may not permit it. Please feel free to join us for whatever days/sessions work best for you. If you will need to miss particular sessions or days, please let us know in your registration.
Note: If you are local to the Carlsbad area and don’t want to stay at the resort, we’re happy to provide you a day pass.
Yes! These weekends are a wonderful opportunity to learn about the need for and impact of CURE’s mission—and to respond together to bring life-changing surgeries and the love of Jesus to children in need. So, we ask you to consider friends who you believe could be long-term financial partners with CURE.
While the conference and the program is primarily set up for adults, you’re welcome to bring your children at your discretion.
You will be in good company as there will be many new to CURE and new to President’s Weekend. Throughout our weekend, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to connect in small groups and join in optional group outings.
Yes! Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Please add those details in your registration.
Of course! You are welcome to add a few days to the beginning or end of our weekend. Please add this request to your registration and we will work to ensure you are able to get our group rate at the hotel for those extra days.
