A change of plans in Niger

When we were called by the LORD to go to Niger, Paul and I imagined we would be taking care of dear little ones like this girl. She was born with a cleft which has been beautifully repaired. Never did we imagine that we would witness violence to so many churches, homes, and orphanages in Niamey.

Challenges, Changes, and Confirmations in Uganda

There have been many changes in the hospital since I was here three years ago. There are new buildings, new staff, new ways of handling the patient population (which is growing!). What has not changed is the deep devotion to the mission of bringing the gospel and healing to children born with disabilities.

Maureen Sloan, who was part of our GO Team to Uganda this summer, shared these recollections about her trip to the country… Pearls…our first morning in Uganda we looked at James 1:2-5 that speaks about counting trials and irritations as joy! This thought stuck with the GO Team members throughout our time.
