There are only a dozen stories below, but there could have been hundreds. It’s been a truly incredible year for CURE, full of joys and challenges, and we hope you see that in each of these stories. We also hope you know that without your prayers and support, none of them would have been possible.

If you were a daddy, and had a sweet little girl like Evelyn, I bet you’d feel the same way.
You’d call her the “light of your life.” You’d love her more than life itself.
And you’d wonder why Evelyn – why does it have to be her? – was so broken.

You come across a little girl. She’s horribly scarred. She fell in a fire before she was a year old. Her horrified parents rescued her, but she was burned so badly, the bottom half of her leg was permanently stuck to the top part. Besides the massive scarring, she will be unable to walk the rest of her life. She’ll have no status, no chance at education, no marriage, no kids, nothing.
