Spiritual Director / Philippines, Spiritual Ministry
PJ Deposa serves as the Spiritual Director at the Tebow CURE Hospital in Davao City in the Philippines. Before joining CURE, PJ was the administrative pastor of a church in Mindanao that is also attached to a Bible school. His family have relocated to Davao City with him to allow him to serve with CURE.
PJ is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Christian Counseling to better equip him to serve his co-workers and patients. Both PJ’s experiences and educational attainment are evidences that he has been called by the Lord to journey with people in their brokenness towards healing and restoration. He is very excited to be able to serve Tebow CURE Hospital as its Spiritual Director. PJ knows that this opportunity is given by the Lord, not only because it is his passion but most importantly it is God’s purpose and plan.
Senior Director of Spiritual Ministry / Spiritual Ministry
Earnest Kioko serves as the Senior Director of Spiritual Ministry. In this position, Earnest is responsible for providing technical and functional leadership to the Spiritual Ministry Teams at each of the CURE hospitals, as well as providing guidance to individuals engaging in spiritual ministry activities within CURE Neuro. In addition, he is responsible for the development, organization, and dissemination of Christian ministry resources across the CURE network.
Until 2018, Earnest served as the Spiritual Director of CURE Kenya. He joined CURE Kenya immediately after completing his theological studies at Scott Christian University in 2005. He served as a chaplain from 2005 to 2008, CURE Clubfoot Kenya Counseling Coordinator from 2008 to 2015, and Assistant Spiritual Director from 2010 to 2015. In June of 2015, Earnest transitioned to the role of Spiritual Director.
Earnest holds a bachelor’s degree in Theology and a master’s degree in Education from Scott Christian University in Kenya. He is an ordained Reverend with Africa Inland Church, Kenya. He is married to Winfred, a high school teacher, and they are blessed with two daughters, Ruth and Blessings.
Spiritual Director / Niger, Spiritual Ministry
Hannatou serves as the Spiritual Director of CURE Niger. She first joined CURE as a volunteer in 2011, began working as a social worker later that year, and became the Spiritual Director at the hospital in 2015. She holds a master’s degree in Management of Enterprise, a BS in Sociology, and has studied theology at Ecole Supérieure Privée de Théologie in Niamey, Niger.
Hannatou and her husband have two daughters, Abigael and Elsa.
Spiritual Director / Kenya, Spiritual Ministry
Since 2001, Victor has served as a local pastor in the Kisii region. He has also served as the principal of a Bible training center, and chaplain of an academy. In addition, Victor has served as a counselor for CURE Clubfoot since 2007. Victor holds a Diploma in Bible and Pastoral Ministries from Pwani Bible Institute and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible and Theology from Africa Theological Seminary.
Spiritual Director / Spiritual Ministry, Zimbabwe
Jorum serves as the Spiritual Director at CURE Zimbabwe. In this role, he proclaims the gospel to the children attended to by the hospital and their families. He also conducts spiritual services and activities at the hospital including corporate and individual devotions, coordinating volunteer programs and their supervision, community outreaches, and community engagement programs.
Jorum has an undergraduate MDiv. and Honours in Missiology from the Theological College of Zimbabwe, and an MPhil. from Queens University and Union College in Northern Ireland. Jorum has also completed an Advanced Biblical Hebrew Hons. with the linguistics department of the University of Free State SA. Jorum has experience working with children through Scripture Union Zimbabwe. He has served as a full-time lecturer at the Theological College of Zimbabwe an Affiliate of Zimbabwe Open University. Jorum is also an active ruling elder with the Presbytery of Bulawayo Zimbabwe. Jorum is convinced that God-honoring praxis comes from a correct biblically saturated thinking.
Jorum is married to Evah Mugari and has a daughter, Roseanne Gamuchirai Mugari (17), and a son, Adrian Njabulo Mugari (15). As a family, they enjoy the company of others, wildlife, and traveling.
Counseling Director / Ethiopia, Spiritual Ministry
Mesfin Taye is the Counseling Director at CURE Ethiopia. Mesfin received his bachelor’s degree in counseling from Evangelical Theological College and his master’s in counseling from Grace Theological College and Vision International University. He joined CURE International in 2007 as a CURE Clubfoot coordinator before being promoted to Counseling Director the following year.
Spiritual Director / Spiritual Ministry, Uganda
Pastor Fred Wangwa serves CURE Uganda as Spiritual Director. He worked with a church planting organization as a mission’s coordinator for four years before he was called into pastoral ministry after his theological training At All Nations Theological Seminary.
