Front Desk Lead & Volunteer Coordinator / Human Resources
Heidi serves as the Front Desk Lead and Volunteer Coordinator for CURE International. In this role, she manages reception and provides volunteer and staff support at the Mission Support Center. Heidi holds an associate’s degree in the Bible from Faith Baptist Bible College in IA and has many years of experience in Administrative Assistance.
Heidi joined CURE from International Aid, “God opened the door for me and I walked in.” Heidi and her husband Mike have three children (Greg, Lilly, and Olivia). Her family is a huge blessing in her life, and she spends her free time with them often kayaking, hiking, or biking.
Human Resource Generalist / Human Resources
Sara serves as a Human Resource Generalist for CURE International. In this role, she provides administrative support to the Human Resource department through a number of administrative tasks including by not limited to processing payroll, administering benefits, and supporting co-workers. Sara has a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management from Grand Valley State University and 6+ years of experience as a Human Resource Coordinator in the nonprofit sector.
Director of Human Resources / Human Resources
John Hudak serves as the Director of Human Resources at CURE International, Mission Support Center. In this role, he sets departmental objectives and strategic organization goals, overseeing the implementation of services, policies, and programs. He leads the Human Resource team and advises on Human Resource topics. John is focused on organizational health, culture, and co-worker development across the CURE network. John brings over 20 years of experience in Human Resource leadership. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and has earned both SPHR and SHRM-SCP Certifications.
John has been married for 30 years and has three daughters. He is an avid runner and has completed many half and full marathons. He is an avid reader and a lifelong learner.

Talent Acquisition Manager / Human Resources
Lola Raji serves as the Talent Acquisition Manager. In this role, Lola makes sure that staffing needs are effectively met. She also coordinates all of the necessary logistics for positions based internationally and ensures the successful mobilization of all new employees.
Lola moved from Lagos, Nigeria, to Chicago, Illinois, in 2000. She attended William Harper College, where she served as the co-founder of the Black Student Union and was a group leader with InterVarsity. She later transferred to Roosevelt University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
Prior to joining CURE, Lola worked as a recruiter for an IT staffing company, where she was responsible for sourcing candidates and managing strong business relationships with clients to ensure successful placements and guarantee customer satisfaction. She also worked as a college recruiter for six years, assisting in evaluating and interviewing national and international candidates for acceptance.
When she isn’t working, Lola enjoys volunteering with RefugeeOne in Chicago, mentoring adult refugees regarding life skills, and assisting refugees with job searches. She is also a member of the Human Trafficking Outreach team at Willow Creek Church.
Front Desk Coordinator / Human Resources
Jennifer serves as the Front Desk Coordinator at CURE International. In this role, she facilitates the administrative needs of incoming guests and staff at CURE and manages the incoming calls and mailings. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and enjoys being able to love and serve God through the people she meets and works with at CURE.
Jennifer is married and has three children. While not at CURE, she enjoys spending time gardening.
