When they went to a hospital, they found the treatment cost was far more than they could afford. Kids at school would sometimes kick John’s cane while playing, making him fall. Despite his condition, John still found joy in life, but always wished he could do the same things other kids could. After years of leaving everything up to God, a CURE Kenya mobile clinic came to John’s area and he got to see the doctors. He was told he needed surgery, and CURE could offer it free of charge. Thankfully, John’s wait was over and after receiving a surgery at CURE Kenya, he could stand tall and confidently, no cane needed.
