CURE in Zambia

The picture above is of CURE in Zambia. Everyone who serves with CURE in Zambia, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Loveness. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.

We need to raise approximately $400 to treat children like Loveness. When you give a gift through Loveness's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Zambia. Have more questions? Ask us.

Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!

When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Loveness. We call it being a CURE Hero!

Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

“There were many talks from members of the community, others saying that she was bewitched and taking her to the witch doctor is one of the options we had in line before we heard of CURE,” shares Brian, father to Loveness.

Loveness is an almost two month old baby girl from the central part of Zambia. The only girl and third born in her family. When she was born with bilateral clubfoot, it was a surprise and was emotionally straining for both her mother and father, Constance and Brian. “I did not feel nice, I was surprised and saddened by the way her legs looked,” recounts Constance.

When they went back to the hospital they were referred to a bigger hospital in the capital city. At that hospital they were told to go back when the baby turned eight months without giving a clear plan on the way forward for her treatment. The returned home disappointed and hopeless and thinking that their child would end up disabled for the rest of her life.

Luckily, there was someone from their community who knew about CURE Zambia and after seeing Loveness, she advised them to bring her to CURE Zambia for treatment. Her journey of healing has now begun, kindly join us in praying for Loveness throughout her treatment process!
