"During the ultrasound, the doctor told me that my baby's head was larger than normal," Nadia spoke as tears collected on her lower eyelids.

Hassan was surely born with Hydrocephalus as the doctor suspected, a condition where the brain releases so much fluid that the body can get rid of, causing the head to expand in size. "My heart broke when I saw my baby for the first time, I didn't know what to do," Nadia spoke with a shaky voice, closed her lips tight as tears rolled down her face. One day, she took Hassan for vaccination and when the nurse asked her if she knew about CURE, Nadia immediately found her way to our hospital where she was warmly welcomed and told there was hope.

"I am Muslim but I am humbled that CURE is taking great care of my son," Nadia spoke while sniffing and wiping her tears. Hassan was also found to have a tumour in her brain and this makes Nadia really worried. With so many questions, we assured her that she was in the right place and we would do all we can to help her daughter.

Please welcome them to the CURE family as they start their healing journey.

Hassan is scheduled to have her surgery soon and Nadia is happy yet scared at the same time. "Is this the first tumour case in this hospital?" she asked with a sense of loneliness, we assured her that she is not alone and that we have had and treated many such cases before. Please pray for and encourage her as she starts this journey. Photo of Hassan
