“Since James was born I pray more. We even took him to a pastor for a special prayer session. I and my husband first thought that he was born prematurely because of the size of his head, so we kept him indoors for a while. He seemed ok later on because he would feed well, was mostly sleeping and only cried when he was hungry,” Evalyne, James' mother explained. One day, Evalyne took James to visit his grandparents and when her father Michael saw him he said, "there is a problem." He advised for James to be brought to CURE Hospital immediately. Evalyne has two children so she requested her mother to help and care for their first born while she and James traveled to CURE. James’ father is a builder and he had some money saved, so transport to CURE wasn’t a problem. Please join us in praying for James' healing and for their time with us at CURE, that they would be ministered to and encouraged.
“Him getting out of surgery and and us leaving ICU are the best things so far,” said Evalyne, James’ mother. We're thankful for answered prayers and ask that you would continue to pray for James' recovery!
"I am very ready for the surgery and just waiting for the time to reach when we are called in. I pray that he comes out of it alive," said Evalyne. James went in for surgery where our doctors attempted an ETV/CPC but decided to place a shunt instead. Please be praying for James to recover well.
“James is having surgery tomorrow and I am ready. I have been praying for him all weekend and his father just visited this morning and prayed for him too,” said Evalyne with a smile on her face. The final preparations for James’ surgery are now underway so please take time to pray for him today.
James has already had a brain CT Scan and other blood tests done and he is being admitted in the ward. Please pray for wisdom as our doctors are laying out a plan for his surgery. Evalyne is getting to know the other mothers in the ward and is very happy about the devotions that take place here. Please keep mother and child in your prayers as they await this life changing surgery!
