CURE in Philippines

The picture above is of CURE in Philippines. Everyone who serves with CURE in Philippines, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Yuki. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.

We need to raise approximately $1000 to treat children like Yuki. When you give a gift through Yuki's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Philippines. Have more questions? Ask us.

Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!

When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Yuki. We call it being a CURE Hero!

Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

Yuki's Story

“I just hope that Yuki will grow up just like any other kids and that she will not experience discrimination,” Sheryl shares her hopes and dreams for her baby girl Yuki.

Yuki is the youngest child of Sheryl and Jay. When asked what Sheryl loves about her, she tells us that “Yuki is very sweet and affectionate! She loves to kiss and stay close to me and her dad! She is a clingy baby.” She also has a fascination with cats and dogs and loves to watch videos on Youtube with her older sister Angel!

Yuki was born with a cleft lip and palate, something that came as a shock to Sheryl and Jay. “I was worried and had fear thinking about the quality of life that she will have because of her condition. As soon as my mom hugged me and encouraged me that the most important thing is that Yuki is alive, I was soon relieved.” Sheryl tells us.

Thankfully, Yuki’s family learned about Tebow CURE Hospital when her grandmother met a parent whose child had a clubfoot treated in the hospital. “I immediately researched about Tebow CURE on the internet and I instantly loved its holistic approach to physical and spiritual healing. Yuki’s lip was repaired last year and now she is back for another round of surgery for her palate!

Yuki’s name means “hope” and through your continued partnership in what we do, we get to bring new hope and new smiles to kids like Yuki! Thank you!

Yuki is back… but only for a few hours! She waited at the lobby to get her lip stitches removed. But while she was a little scared to be back at Tebow CURE after surgery, she was very brave to go through stitch removal! We are so proud of Yuki and we will continue to keep in touch with her as we hope for her palate to be fully healed! Photo of Yuki

We have a couple of good news for you! Yuki is healing well which means she is now set to go home! Although she is still feeling some discomfort due to her surgery, she will soon be relieved once she gets reunited with her Daddy Jay, who also received the good news of passing his job interview! Before saying goodbye, Child Mentor Patricia read Yuki and Sheryl the Get Well messages that you sent and they are so grateful to God and all the people who prayed for them! We will see them again next week for Yuki’s follow-up! Photo of Yuki

Yuki was a bit fuzzy as the nurses prepped her for surgery. It took two nurses along with Sheryl to keep her still before the IV line was successfully inserted on her tiny hand. Afterwards, she was wheeled down the OR where Patient Ministry Coordinator Mary Ann prayed for her successful surgery. The medical team initially planned to only work on her palate but also decided to do some minor revision on her lip to make her nose look symmetrical. After a long time of carefully worked on repairing her lip and palate, she is now back in the ward! Thank you for your prayers! Photo of Yuki

Meet one of our new friends, Yuki! She is now back at Tebow CURE since her surgery seven months ago. This time, to have her cleft palate repaired. Doctor Sarah asked her dad Jay some details about Yuki’s medical history during admission. Since we only allow one guardian per patient as part of our protocol during this pandemic, Jay said goodbye to Yuki before she was admitted in the ward together with her mother Sheryl. “Actually, Jay was gonna be the one to accompany Yuki in the hospital because she is a daddy’s girl, but he has a job interview to attend to so I will be the one to look after her in the following days instead,” Sheryl explained. Despite the momentary separation, Jay is looking forward to see her daughter again in a few days with a repaired palate! Please lift up Yuki’s family and her surgery in prayer and that they will continue to witness God’s healing power at work! Photo of Yuki
