CURE in Philippines

The picture above is of CURE in Philippines. Everyone who serves with CURE in Philippines, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Ereanne. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.

We need to raise approximately $1000 to treat children like Ereanne. When you give a gift through Ereanne's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Philippines. Have more questions? Ask us.

Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!

When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Ereanne. We call it being a CURE Hero!

Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

“Sweet. Girly. Generous.” These are the things that Ervie loves about her daughter, Ereanne!

Ereanne is a five year old girl who loves to dance, play legos, and watch Youtube videos with Até (big sister) Kristel. As young as she is, Ereanne has already proven herself to be a girl with grit and grace! She was born premature when Mommy Ervie was still eight months pregnant and she was born a cleft lip and palate. “I cried out of sadness upon learning my daughter’s condition and questioned why this happened to her, but I began to accept her as she is” Ervie shares. “With God’s help, Ereanne underwent surgery to repair her cleft lip when she was just a year old. However, her surgery for palate repair had been postponed many times because she was prone to asthma and she wasn’t fit to undergo surgery,” Ervie recounts their experience in their quest for Ereanne’s healing.

Thankfully, Ervie learned about Tebow CURE Hospital when she came across our page through social media. “A lot of people that I know kept tagging me in Tebow CURE’s posts. I immediately messaged them and in just a little over a month, Ereanne was scheduled for surgery!” she shares.

Ereanne dreams to become either a doctor or a teacher someday. Although she isn’t sure of what she wants to be in the future yet, her family’s dream for her healing is now certain and finally made possible with your support and partnership!

Ereanne was back for her follow-up appointment together with Ervie! She opened her mouth big and wide for Doctor Andrew to see her operated palate and so far it is looking great and healing well! The stitches on her lip were ready to come off and Nurse Francis carefully removed her sutures. Although there were some tears, we are pretty proud of Ereanne for being so well behaved and brave throughout the process! Ereanne is still on soft food diet for two more weeks to give some time for her palate to fully heal but she is looking forward to eating her favorite fried chicken meal once she’s able to do so. We will see her again after three months for her speech assessment! Photo of Ereanne

Ereanne is recovering so well even though she’s in a little bit of pain. Before Ervie processed their discharge papers, she spent time brushing Eerrane’s hair as they got ready to leave. “I am so happy that they did more than what we asked. My child’s nose was repaired, too!” We are pleased to serve Ereanne exceedingly and abundantly more than they were expecting. Isn’t it amazing how God grants our prayers? Thanks for supporting us in what we do! Photo of Ereanne

Ereanne and Ervie’s most awaited time has finally come! Ereanne was as ready as she could be as she went down the operating room. Nurse Delia and the team prayed for a successful surgery just before the procedure started. Doctor Andrew and the team did an excellent job closing together Ereanne’s palate and repairing her lip and nose, as well as improving the symmetry of her facial features. Not long after, Ereanne was finally reunited with Ervie back in the ward. Thank you for your prayers! Photo of Ereanne

Alot of things have changed in our “new normal” during this global pandemic. Ereanne and Ervie underwent a rapid test as part of our protocol in admitting patients and thankfully, their results turned out negative. Afterwards, Ervie had a chat with our receptionist through clear plastic covering to sort out some requirements before finally going in the ward. Although the new admission process took a bit longer, Ereanne was very patient the entire time and she is now resting comfortably. Please join us in lifting up Ereanne’s successful surgery in prayers as she prepares to visit the OR! Photo of Ereanne
