“Rocky is a responsible kid. He is reliable and willing to help me in the household.” Ecoy tells us with a sense of pride about his son Rocky.

Rocky is a boy that can turn heads with his magenta colored hair! He is currently in second grade and loving it! “I love to answer (math) questions and to 'divide'!” he shares, which pretty much means he loves mathematics. When he is not in school, he loves socializing and playing basketball with his friends.

Just like any seven year old boy with endless energy, he loves to play but he unfortunately got into an accident while doing so. “He attempted to climb up a makeshift basketball pole but it was not sturdy enough. He fell off the ground and his elbow hit a rock, resulting in a fracture. We sought treatment but the nearest hospital in our city was closed then since it was almost New Year and they only put Rocky’s arm in a splint,” Ecoy, Rocky’s dad, tells us.

Fortunately, they were able to connect with someone from the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association which led them here in our doors! “I am happy that people helped us and told us about Tebow CURE so that my son can finally get treated. I just wish him the best and for him to do well in his studies,” Ecoy tells us. Rocky dreams to become a cop someday but for now, he is glad that his dream of getting his arm treated through surgery will finally happen! Rocky's ability to go back to his normal routine is made possible because of your partnership in what we do!

Rocky had a whole lot of visitors checking on him this morning! Doctor Jun along with the nurses did rounds to see how he is doing after surgery. We were happy to know that he doesn’t feel any pain and he is looking alright. We thank God that Rocky’s surgery was a breeze and that he is now going back home with Ecoy! We will see them again in two weeks! Photo of Rocky

Today is a big day for Rocky as he finally went down to the OR this morning! Before starting the surgery, Doctor Jun and the medical team made sure to prepare the surgical instruments needed and prepared themselves by praying and asking help from the Greatest Doctor. Afterwards, Doctor Jun made an incision in Rocky’s arm and put the broken pieces of his bone back together. Doctor Jun then used some pins to hold the bone in its proper alignment. Not long after, Rocky’s surgery was all done! Thank you for praying! Photo of Rocky

Help us welcome Rocky and Ecoy! We first met them during our Monday clinic this week where they were told the good news that they will be staying with us for a couple of days as Rocky gets surgery! Rocky seemed too serious when we first met him, but with the help of goodies, engaging in conversation, and playing with him, we finally won him over! Rocky will visit the OR tomorrow and we ask you pray for him that he will experience Jesus’ healing and love as we spend time together! Photo of Rocky
