It has now been almost two months since we met introvert Abebayehu. She has been staying in the long-term ward going through the process of correcting her bilateral clubfoot condition. Abebayehu's clubfoot condition is a bit severe, so she's been having weekly cast changes to slowly but carefully stretch her feet more towards straight. CURE Ethiopia physiotherapists like Demsash try their best to make Abebayehu's weekly cast changes as quick and painless as possible. Our prayer is for Abebayehu's casts to do what they are supposed to so that she can move on to the second phase of treatment. Please join us in this prayer.

Welcome Nhlakanipho to CURE Zimbabwe! He is a fun-loving boy who broke his right femur bone in a scotch cart accident! He was put on traction for a month, but after seeing no progress, he found his way to CURE Zimbabwe. He is scheduled for corrective surgery this week and we are excited to have him in the ward!

Today, smiley face Tsedale wheeled down to the workshop to get a new accessory added to her external fixator (metal frame). This young lady will start walking on crutches soon, so Orthotist Bayisa fixed up a foam footplate to act as a shoe sole for her left leg. The footplate will also prevent Tsedale's toes from curling inwards. Thanks to the dedication of the CURE Ethiopia Orthotics Department, Tsedale is being provided with all the resources she needs to get back on her feet. Thank you for supporting them as they do this!

Meet Emmanuel! He broke his right arm a month ago when he was running outside with his brother. Since then he hasn't been able to move his arm very well, or write at school which he loves to do. His father Stephen is here with him at CURE Zimbabwe to receive corrective surgical treatment and give him the ability to use his arm back! Please help us welcome Emmanuel to the hospital.

Alimwi had his pins removed! The pins were put in to help keep his fingers straight as the wound heals. The wound has healed well, however his finger is still healing so Dr. Maweja is cleaning the wound to avoid infections. Please pray for our young man!
