Abdoulaye

Niger - Age 4
September 24, 2021

Time to go home! Abdoulaye is getting ready to leave our ward. Emmanuel, from our Spiritual Department, handed him a coloring book Miracles of Jesus, together with toys, pencils, hygiene kit, and an audio Bible in Zarma, the local language. Abdoulaye was happy and surprised to get all these goodies! He will be back in one week for a follow up. Please keep Abdoulaye in your prayers. May he grow in loving Jesus by hearing God's words. Safe journey!

Tamia

Zimbabwe - Age 7
September 24, 2021

A pleasant surprise seeing Tamia's goofy personality in the ward this morning. She came to CURE Zimbabwe yesterday to continue treatment for clubfoot, and she will be going in to theatre today to have her casts adjusted. This is in preparation for her upcoming surgical procedure, which she doesn't seem nervous about at all! Please keep her in your prayers as she continues on her journey to healing.

Lewis

Kenya - Age 12
September 24, 2021

We are happy to learn that Lewis and her mom are being allowed to go home this afternoon! They been given some instructions on cast care while at home. They were advised to keep the cast clean and avoid getting dirt or sand inside the cast. They are also not to any apply powder or lotion on or near the cast. Also, to always cover the cast when eating and not to place anything inside the cast, even for itchy areas. This will be a walk in the park for Furaha since this isn't her first rodeo at cast care! We pray that they get home safe back to their friends and family and recover better as well.
