Uganda - Age 2
Earlier today, we were laughing with Richard's nurse about how he was cropped out of a previous photo! So today, he was determined to be part of the picture. We so appreciate how wonderful our CURE Uganda nurses are, and how faithful they are in the kindness and excellent nursing care they give to each and every patient! Mama Benna let us know that the doctors are hoping that Richard can have surgery on Monday. He was definitely feeling better today, so we're praying that he'll continue to feel better each day and be ready for the surgery he needs!
Malawi - Age 12
"I will miss my Malawian friends," Alisina tell us in a low tone. We were able to encourage her that we will try to keep in touch until she comes back at the hospital in November for her follow up. We are looking forward to seeing her and hear all the stories from back home! Please pray that her healing goes quickly so she can fully join school again, and pray for safe travels back home in Mozambique!
Malawi - Age 5
"I got a new brace! Look!" Yosefe yelled at, showing off his moves! Yosefe and his mother will be going home tomorrow. Even though it has been a short visit, Yosefe has loved to see his old friends (nurses and staff) again! We will see him again next February and we will also MISS him so much! Let us continue to pray for the safe journey back home and complete healing!
Ethiopia - Age 13
Hulager got the splint for her fingers and she is going back home! Our physical therapist showed her a couple of exercise that will help her to keep her fingers straight. She will do those exercises from home and we will see her again in three months when she returns for her check-up. Keep this young girl in your prayers for a speedy recovery and safe return back to the hospital!
Malawi - Age 4
Enala is finally having her operation! Please remember her in your prayers as our doctors install a frame on Enala's leg. The frame goes in and connects to her bones which will allow our doctors to slowly straighten out her leg over the next few weeks!
