Ismael is a 4-year-old boy and has arrived to CURE Niger with his mother Adama. She is the mother of three children of which Ismael is second born. At the age of two years old, his mother brought him to stay with his grandmother because she had a difficult pregnancy. One morning, Ismael's grandmother took him to a doughnut seller to buy some doughnuts. Unfortunately, Ismael fell into the boiling oil used to fry the doughnuts and sustained burns to his hand. After the accident, his parents gave him traditional treatment for three months. After that, his wound healed but the skin on his hand became contracted. Not long ago, Adama heard about CURE Niger from a woman whose child was treated here and she decided to bring her child too. Please join us in praying for Ismael's healing!

We saw Ismael this morning in front of the physical therapy room. He is sitting nicely on his mother's feet patiently, waiting for his turn for a massage. His health is progressing well. Please continue to pray for his total healing.
It is a great joy for us to meet Ismael again this morning in the physical therapy room. He is in a rehabilitation session for his hand. The physical therapist is massaging his fingers to help with the extension and flexion. His hand is almost completely healed! Ismael's mother thanks God for what he is doing in her child's life. Please continue to pray for his complete healing.
We are so happy to have met Ismael this morning in the physical therapy room. He came back for a little massage and a cast change! He is a really brave boy. He kept the promise he made last time of no crying during today's visit! His health is improving very well. Please continue to pray for his complete recovery!
