CURE in Malawi
The picture above is of CURE in Malawi. Everyone who serves with CURE in Malawi, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Nulu. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.
We need to raise approximately $1000 to treat children like Nulu. When you give a gift through Nulu's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Malawi. Have more questions? Ask us.
Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!
When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Nulu. We call it being a CURE Hero!
Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

"One thing I know is that the power of God will heal my child as I have brought him here to CURE Children's Hospital Malawi," said Hawa, Nulu's grandmother.
Nulu is a beautiful tribal name that means "blessings!" Nulu comes to our CURE Children’s Hospital of Malawi a few months after he fell when he was playing with his friends back home. Due to the unavailability of medical help, Nulu developed a bone infection in both his left leg and his left upper arm. After a few attempts seeking medical help in Nulu's home village, very little had improved. Nulu feels so much pain due to the infection that is destroying his bones. This young man cannot go to school and life has been very hard. Day in and day out, Hawa wishes for a miracle, "I gathered all that I had when I heard that CURE doctors will be coming to our local hospital to see children with differently-abled conditions. I was so excited!" she recalls. Nulu was seen during our mobile clinic and was told their is healing for him! Nulu and his grandmother were told to come to our hospital to receive surgery. Nulu arrived over Easter and he will receive his surgery soon!

"My hand feels so much better already! I feel like I can do everything again!" said Nulu. As we shared last week, this boy had his operation. Today, Nulu was so happy, and we could tell from his face that there was very little pain. A big thanks to our CURE Malawi surgeons who cleaned up all the infections! Nulu will be here for some time so that our nurses can continue to dress his wounds and observe his healing progress. Please keep Nulu in your prayers!
